A lovely view of the sea 180 degrees is the first thing that strikes us of ‘House Curve‘, the project of RGB Architects for a home in Altea, which stands out for its integration with the landscape. This was, in fact, the starting point of the work. Something as unique and important as being aware of how you are going to perceive a building. In the end, the first image is the one that we recorded and, in the ‘House Curve” occurs as well: an architecture that accompanies us on the path and helps us to discover it from beginning to end.

Get these sea views it is not a coincidence. The key is the location of the plot, located in a considerable slope in the upper part of a development that develops along the profile of a mountain. This effect, which makes it unique, binds to the way in which one enters the housing. This is not an entry either. Access to the site is produced by the main thoroughfare of urbanization, and the way to find out is, literally, after a very tight corner, as if the parcel is avalanzara about us.

Hence the name ‘House Curve’ is suitable to call this home your architecture accompanies us and invites us to enter through the stunning curves that you hold so curvy. A feeling that comforts and connects us to the sea, which opens up after the plot, aside from the typical building robust and mass. In its place, we find a facade of 47 meters lines that brings dynamism and freshness in the heart of Altea.

One of the rooms 'House Curve'

A building with three floors interiors

The housing is divided into three indoor plants, each with their functions and characteristics. On the one hand, the visit would start with the basement, which makes the times of access, and garage along with other uses complementary. We also found the ground floor, which houses the area of the bedrooms of the daughters of the guests, along with the gym and spa area. And, finally, the first floor, which contains the piece of the day, the pool and the master bedroom.

These three spaces are perfectly rectangular, without any type of way that you can subtract functionality to the area livable. In contrast, the exterior covers are the ones that assume the role of a break with the orthogonality, give the set the sinuosity and the dynamism of the search for as well try to mimic the way to discover the house and subtract drama to your appearance.

But, how do you get this provision so harmonious that fits perfectly with the scenery? To do this, the architecture team opted, as we have mentioned, by integrate the dwelling in the mountain. Areas such as the basement and the ground floor appear in the same vertical line, while the first floor (the main) is located floor recessed, so that the terrace and the pool are developed in the ceiling of the ground floor.

We can not leave aside the shapes that you draw the swimming pool in push-pull with the rest of the plot. An area adjacent to the garden, we are even closer to the coast, which opens step thanks to the architecture projected in the form of a curve. It is the same curve that allows us to discover the sea, the mountain and the horizon that are deployed on them. Do you go with us to this project designed by RGB Arquitectos? You will be sure that you love it!
