The idyllic Costa Brava returns to be the framework for a new and magnificent project of reform with a taste of the sea. This time, the hand of interior designer Isabel Balaguer’s interior design studio in barcelona Vermell032 that signs this comprehensive rehabilitation of a single family house located precisely in a beautiful cove of the province of Girona, with amazing views that you’ll want that summer never end.
In the reform, the rustic style, and sailor has been implemented in large open spaces and very well connected through which expands the wonderful natural light that comes directly from the Mediterranean, and through large windows and spaces outside that lead up the the facade of all the floors of the house. And is that, although the interior of the housing are of the journal, the exterior is without a doubt the great added value of this four-storey house and views really privileged in one of the most beautiful areas of the Catalan coast.
Keep this spirit of the sea, but without excess and with a lot of freshness and with a lot of color, have been the greatest slogans that has haunted the interior to propose the styling of this reform, in which the materials have been carefully selected in order to maintain a good dialogue between the interior and the exterior. So, the natural materials also play an important role in the different corners of the housing and, if on the ground floor has opted for the use of ceramic floor next to the furniture of work combined with natural wood, the stairs leading to the upper floors starts with a first tranche of work, also in ceramic and oak wood, and continues until the plant two, with traces flown supported in a lateral structure in painted iron.
A coherence which is also reinforced by the colour range is dominant that, as we well in all the photographs, ranging from roasted and ochre to the white broken and blue in different hues and textures.
Kitchen with a taste of the sea
The kitchen is located on the second floor of the house and is separated from the living room by the stairs. In this case, the interior designer opted for a furniture woodworking that combines the coating and the pine painted that provides texture and warmth.
The turquoise blue, for its part, is in charge of provide freshness and color that, together with the tall furniture, get a beautiful mirror effect and reflection of the sea.
An environment that reproduces the warmth of the beach
The bedrooms are located on the 1st floor, where the pavement is a parquet oak brushed and whitewashed, with a lot of texture, looking for the warmth of the sand beach. The doors and the cabinets are fir wood with large brushed, and bleached.
Suite looking out to the sea
The bedroom suite is arranged facing the sea. The head of the bed makes the separator with the area, bathroom sink. The shower and toilet are separate and positioned after the crystals are translucent.
Bathroom with tiles sailors
As dictated by the sailor-style, to the bathroom we have chosen some beautiful tiles turquoise, that maximize also the environment of the sea, combined with more natural materials, such as ceramic or wicker.
A terrace directly on the mediterranean
This wonderful space extends from the floor of the open kitchen and the living room, where the homeowners can enjoy one of the most beautiful places of the cove. In addition, with a daybed where you can have a rest and a long table designed to take advantage of the long dinner of summer.
A sun terrace luxury
Another one of our favorite corners of this reform is without a doubt the space to which we access through a staircase of a single segment: a solarium, a sun terrace provided with a shower and a swimming pool, perfect for relax, sunbathe, cool off and enjoy the peace and beauty of the magnificent place.
