The magnetism of Ibiza, with its hidden coves and its sunsets, goes hand in hand now with the construction of a home that represents in itself the charm of this island. So is ‘Ca’n Rudayla‘, the new single-family housing project designed by the team of architecture, design and interior Minimal Studio that is built on a gorge of the magical Ibiza.

This has been the location chosen for the study spaniard, whose work spans Mallorca, Ibiza, Barcelona and even Marbella. On this occasion, ‘Ca’n Rudayla’ is the perfect example of the integration of a building with the rest of the landscape. On the whole, taking into account the location, on top of a mountain, is not conducive to the construction.

However, this has not been a problem, rather it is the volume of the housing in which adapts to the geometry of the terrain, as well as its coating and exterior finishes. A whole oda light thanks to the perfect location of the facade which allows the entrance of light to the whole house.

The influence of the natural light and project light in this house give different skins to stay the same.

In fact, its interior stands out for its cleanliness, delicacy and minimalism with continuous tile, giving the space a look monolithic, which highlights the rest of the interior elements that compose it. A housing in which there are no cracks, everything is integrated through materials clear and natural that provide dynamism to the room.

As we have already mentioned, in addition to the spectacular views be seen from ‘Ca’n Rudayla’, the influence of the natural light is very important in this construction. A project quite marked by the light, as it is this element of light which we could say that dota different skins to stay the same. The sensations that you transmit to us, and every stay will vary depending on the day and the hour.

The light moves so soft and natural to the whole house until you reach chromatic extreme, changing the character and aspect of the home to its whim. If we look closely, its influence and reflection in the monolithic your interior, make up a game of shadows generated a project that is unique and unrepeatable.

An effect that reminds us of the words of the writer Junichirō Tanizaki to whom: “It is generally called beautiful is not it is more than just a sublimation of the realities of life, and so it was like our ancestors, forced to live, what would or not, in housing the dark, they discovered a day as beautiful in the womb of the shadow and did not take long to use the shade in order to obtain aesthetic effects.”

In short, ‘Ca’n Rudayla’ is a dwelling in which miss under legends, sunsets, and long nights in the mountain. We leave you now with some pictures for you to discover, with us, the inside and the outside of this amazing building in Ibiza.
