Located in Finestrat, very close to Benidorm (Alicante), is ‘House Rome’one of the projects carried out during 2020 by RGB-Architects and José Ramón Muñoz Baldó, Enclave Projects. A home that has been built under the banner of save barriers and dilute limits. But what does this mean exactly?
We have only to look at its architectural arrangement to guess. Just in front of the plot on which it has built ‘House Rome’ there is a residential building that acts as a visual barrier to the view, in this case Benidorm and the sea. As the premise was able to enjoy the coastal part, the first step was to make a small twist in relation to the front of the plot, trying to overcome that barrier.
But the initiative goes beyond, since two of the wishes of the customer was led to a dissolution of boundaries. First they wanted to flee to the maximum possible of the aesthetic orthogonal, that is to say the well-known image of “box” of other modern dwellings in the environment. Once saved this detail was another more wish: to the pool. Because if something can differentiate to a parcel of another, without doubt is the kind of swimming pool and materials that are selected.
Knowing that they wanted one, you had to find a pool specific to contribute to the environment a more natural imagethe idea of beach, on the edge of the water is more diffuse.
The practice of spin commented on the position of the housing, the plant is completely orthogonal, since it is also the best way that the rotation is evident more.
“It was intended that precisely, that the gesture became fully marked. Instead, the willingness of customers to avoid the image of boxes, compelling, and help us, to follow the line, or better said, the dissemination of the lines that raised the idea of a swimming pool-the beach they wanted,” explained from the study of architecture.
To finish off the staging of this house that we call the attention for its freshness and its modern layout, we can not fail to mention the series of pergolas that, both on the ground floor as in the first, forming a spectacular game of incoming, outgoing, lights and shadows. All of them result in a complete dissolution of the idea of “box” and add a picture very unique to the whole set.
The swimming pool provides naturally
The spectacular swimming pool it is one of the highlights of ‘House Rome’. With it get bring a touch of casualness to the whole space, very close to the idea of beach and on the edge of the water is more diffuse.
Pergolas unify the whole set
The entire property is covered by a series of pergolas that, both on the ground floor as in the first, forming a spectacular game of incoming, outgoing, lights and shadows.
A house which escapes from the image of “box” modern
The housing looks away from the aesthetic orthogonal, that is to say the well-known image of “box” of other modern dwellings, the environment, and poses a scenario in which the views yes that matter.
An interior design sofisiticado
The interior design of the house, marked by a line-modern and coolcombines perfectly with the exterior of the house. A set uniform and sophisticated and inviting comfort.
The garden and pool area
We cannot lose sight of every corner of this house located on the coast, of a mediterranean influence and the natural re-charge sense through their gardens so well combined with the rest of the house.
