Redistribution and reform in its entirety. This has been the work that has been carried out the interior design studio Marina Sezam in a duplex https://www.revistainteriores.es/85 m2 interior, located in the Avenue Vallcarca Barcelona. The first thing that the team had in mind were the needs of the project; that is to say, a reform for a couple with two children who required the maximum use of natural light and space.
To carry out the redistribution, the project consisted in breaking down all the walls of the original ground floor and arrange it again so that the natural light and visual communication flow between the two facades of the building.
But how to get that color colour that unites each room? For it had a pavement of natural wood slightly tinted white throughout the house and took care of a lot of the color gamut of both the walls as furniture. And, if anything we observe between its corners, is that the natural wood and sand tones very clear provided the perfect base on which to add a splash of color with decorative items and textiles.
Another of the keys of this house is the aprovechación of the space to the maximum. Do wonders, but realistic, with their https://www.revistainteriores.es/85 m2 interior. To do this we took advantage of each one of the corners of the housing, having storage areas that hide away after the mirrors, under the stairs or in the small gaps that are obtained with the arrangement of the furniture.
In this way they managed to liberate most of the space available for the common areas and rooms which, in turn, have a lighting study and simple decor but chromatically very balanced. In fact, the family room holds perfectly accommodated three bedrooms, a study, a kitchen open to the living room and with direct communication to the outside.
This kitchen open to the terrace and integrated with the living room, much care was given to its design to be completely exposed. In the same way that it also sought to prepare the terrace for a scenario that would enjoy the day and the night. In this way, it is lit up and is furnished with furniture for the exterior of Kettalideal for a view of the entire city.
The result of this project out of the study Marina Sezam is a house that is harmonious and full of light in which the outside is an extension perfectly habitable of the interior, for the life in the family or with guests, both day and night.
